Privacy Policy

Last updated September 22, 2026

This policy explains what information Webstack collects and how it's used — both for businesses that use Webstack and for homeowners who contact those businesses through websites built on it.

If you're a homeowner

When you request a price, book a visit, sign a proposal or pay an invoice on a contractor's website, the information you enter (name, contact details, address, project details, signature, messages) goes to that contractor. Webstack stores it on the contractor's behalf so they can respond to you. We don't sell it or use it to advertise to you.

Service providers

We use trusted providers to run Webstack: hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), payments (Stripe), texting (Twilio), email (Resend) and AI features (Anthropic). They process data only to provide their service to us. AI features receive only the content needed for the specific task.

Retention and security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it, and each business's data is kept separate. We keep data while your account is active and delete it within 30 days of closure unless the law requires otherwise. Businesses can export their data anytime from Settings.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have rights to access, correct, delete or port your data and to opt out of certain processing. We don't sell personal information. To make a request, contact support@webstack.tech.
